Manual Shower Valves: One single level controls both the water temperature and water flow. Manual valves must be independently supplied with hot and cold water feeds and will not shut off automatically if there is hot or cold water failure.

Thermostatic shower valves blend hot and cold water giving you a constant flow of water at the same temperature. Once you have set the temperature, it will remain the same each time you turn on the shower, unless you adjust it. Thermostatic valves will keep the water flowing at the desired temperature regardless of whats going on elsewhere in the home (toilet flushing, taps running, house hold water reliant appliances on the go- washing machines/dishwashers).

Both manual and thermostatic valves can be recessed or exposed. The recessed valves hide the shower control unit within the wall leaving only the operating handles and a back plate visible. Exposed valves are mounted on the wall with both the control unit and operating handles visible. Any of our riser rail kits can be used with any of our thermostatic shower values, view our collection of riser rails kits here.
