Marabese Bathroom Design & Installation

This creative bathroom has unique and intricate designs written all over it… well, specifically on the floor! The eye is instantly drawn to the patterned Odyssey Grande Pentillie tiles as we have opted to keep the rest of the bathroom plainer in comparison.

The walls are covered in Porcelanosa’s Madagascar Natural tiles, which capture the natural stone effect. The soft grey hues add warmth to the room and perfectly complement the patterned tiles below.

Using mirrors is an old trick to making the room appear larger, reflecting light around the room. One wall is covered in large mirror-fronted cabinets with bright spotlights above. They break up the expanse of grey and offer plenty of storage for toiletries.

This compact bathroom has everything packed into a small area, without it looking cramped or cluttered. The toilet, basin and additional storage are combined in a single unit by Qualitex: the Eden 120 1-piece basin combination.

The Emme back-to-wall toilet has an expertly crafted Italian design, where all unsightly pipework is hidden away for easy cleaning and a minimalist look. The soft, rounded edges have a pristine white finish which enhances the designer look of the bathroom.

The Loft basin mixer tap has the traditional crosshead, but a modern timeless design in shiny chrome finish. It coordinates perfectly with the chosen sanitaryware and has a matching wall mounted bath shower mixer installed as a centre piece for the bath.

Bathing feels luxurious in the freestanding Ultima bath by Phoenix, which is perfect for this contemporary styled bathroom. It does not take up as much space as a traditional slipper bath, but still makes for a stunning feature. Its distinctive shape and silky finish naturally draw the eye, especially with the centre placement of the Loft bath shower mixer tap. This style of bath helps to keep hot water hotter for longer – ideal for a good, long soak after a tiring day.

Opposite the toilet and basin combination is the Davina designer heated towel rail by Phoenix. The angled valves ensure that less pipework is on display, for a neater finish. The stylish chrome radiator is wired into the mains, so has the option of working independently from the central heating system – ideal for the summer months to avoid heating the whole house for the sake of a warm towel after a bath.

Behind the scenes, or rather beneath, the underfloor heating by Ezewarm will ensure that your feet never need come into contact with cold tiles again. The touchscreen programmable room thermostat, also by Ezewarm, allows you to set room temperatures for different times of the day and night.
