Cool bathroom with warm metallic tiles

Earthy tones bring about an immediate sense of warmth in this small-yet-stylish bathroom. So much so that the need for a towel rail could have been overlooked. Barbara Babb, our experienced designer, has however found the perfect place for it - nestled snugly beneath the window, the matt black Phoenix towel rail ensures warmth through every season. Subtle features such as this are what make our designs a cut above the rest.

Finished flawlessly, we see silver touches such as those surrounding this window throughout the bathroom, pulling the room together with seamless sophistication. Adding to the seamlessness, did you notice the hideaway illuminated shelf? Made to provide the customer extra storage without the need for bulky units, this feature maximises space and style.

The utilisation of space in this en-suite is the perfect example of how our designers and fitters work to the strengths of your home. Fitted to the length of the room, the Claygate Symmetry tray provides the wetroom look at a fraction of the price and a fraction of the hassle. The tray has a flush to the floor option with a vortex waste unit which clears water almost instantly. This is unquestionably a useful addition as the Aqualisa Quartz Classic shower has been fitted - a powerful, best-selling product by pioneers of revolutionary shower technology. This shower turns your bathroom smart, it’s fitted with a dual-outlet remote which allows you to turn on your shower from the outside - there’s no need to dip your toes in the water, just step in at the perfect temperature! With both an adjustable and fixed ceiling head, the shower allows for extra comfort and convenience.

The shower enclosure and toilet are both Qualitex products, a UK-based brand with a reputation for providing excellent quality at affordable prices. As you can see, the luxurious look has certainly not been forfeited, and elements have been added to tie the bathroom together perfectly. The Genesis Showerwall provides a smoky look that twins perfectly with the Rust Interno 9 tiles by ABK. This collection of tiles represents ‘an industrial-style fusion of colours inspired by metal oxides’ and was created to cater for architects and designers, obviously with the height of fashion in mind.

ABK is a leading trend-setting Italian tile manufacturer characterised by high quality and stylish aesthetics. Over three-quarters of the brand's tiles are made of at least 40% of raw materials, their commitment to the environment a reason that they remain to be one of the world’s leading tile manufacturers. The Interno 9 Rust tiles were chosen especially for this bathroom for the warmth that the colours give.

Highlighting the wall tiles, we step onto the contrasting Da Vinci Alabaster tiles from Karndean. This beige shade on the floor brings in more of the earthy elements, helping to create a natural yet contemporary class in this bathroom. These earthy tones are sure to never go out of style and bring about an effortless warmth. The 2-drawer unit beneath the Deuco basin is in the shade Nebraska Oak, it perfectly camouflages in with the other colours of the room. Being wall-hung, this unit also efficiently provides storage without limiting space, but rather creates the illusion of more of it!

If this illusion is what you’re after, the Globe 60 mirror by HiB has also been perfectly utilised to enhance the area. The mirror has a sensory-activated perimeter of lighting with a temperature colour-changing feature, allowing you to shift between a sequence of ambient colours to create a gorgeous natural glow in your bathroom. Fitted in portrait orientation, this mirror produces a lovely lengthening effect, creating a sense of airiness.
